Tier 4 Now
Other
Hi everyone I am here after a long time I hope and pray you all are well. We are teir 4 now which means a lockdown. Wasn't expecting this on Xmas but I hope we all have eachother.
Wishing you all the best!
Hey buddy I hope Latesdeal will be the form to keep is alive , pretty hard time for everyone
I’m in Scotland so all of us are tier 4, meaning my mum won’t meet her first grandchild (who is now 2 and a half months old) and we’ll be spending christmas alone as my step son’s mum has tested positive yesterday
Oh bless I am feeling sorry for you buy many many congratulations on a safe arrival and first Xmas with your baby.
SarahBenne67061 we had a new granddaughter in March and we’ve only seen her three times. We did steal a cuddle with her once though! Very sad for your mum.
pato my mum lives in northern ireland and had a flight booked for Boxing Day was told she couldn’t change it
SarahBenne67061 That's a pity, even if she had managed to change the date and bring it forward, the problem is, she wouldn't able to travel back, as that would take tier 4 into force, it's still tier as yet.
Fortunately we had already decided not to make a Christmas bubble so Tier 4 hasn’t changed much for us. We can’t meet up with my daughter and family now in a park as we were going to on Boxing Day but there’s always Zoom!
I know Skype and zoom can be helpful but I miss all these family huges and sitting in the same place
I live in the highlands of Scotland and I am in teir one but has from Saturday the 26th boxing day we will go in to teir 4. I live on my own. Both my mum and dad have pass. So no change for me. But I have my sheep ,horse and goose to care for. So I will have a quit one. But I will do a Christmas dinner for me and the dogs. Watch loads of movies.
Oh bless I have both my parents and mother in law. As per day brown people can live without food but not without family so it's pretty hard time for me.
When tear 6 is allowed by law , huge security force members are going to come and nail our doors shut so we have to " remain in place" It's the only way to combat the Virus . We'll die of thirst and starvation but it won't appear on the daily statistics ..
People have grown to accept this, so it's just a matter of time before they introduce Tier 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and so on.
I'm in tier 4 and well not a lot of change. I'm still going through tier3 and 2 to get to work (which is allowed) I don't socialise much normally anyway (no time) , Xmas was cancelled in my family when tier 2 was the highest
We have gone down to tier 2 now. Will only be seeing my dad over Christmas. He coming for Christmas dinner as its first year with out my mum
I am so happy for you, lots of love for you and your family from all of us merry Christmas
I hope what ever tier you are in and who ever you are with you have as best one as you can. My heart goes out to all those that won't be able to visit family and friends this year and remember even though its not the same please don't be alone this Christmas someone is only a phone call away. ❤ merry Christmas all xx
DavidBridgman what a lovely message. Thank you, I am lucky enough to be able to have my son and my daughter and her family round for Xmas dinner so I am one of the lucky ones I guess. New year will be as you say a phone call, but if this means keeping my elderly In laws safe that is fine with me. I hope you have a lovely christmas and all the best for the new year
heatherduthie thanks I have my son this year for xmas not had him for a few years he's 13. But there will be people here this year that won't have family around them or have as many heart whelmed gifts but always remember someone somewhere is thinking about them no matter what. X
DavidBridgman that’s great you will not be alone for Christmas. Have a wonderful day with your son
