I always feel I get given chances, when I feel I don't always deserve them, but they see potential, so just people giving me opportunities in life I've had is amazing!! College courses, employment, friendships etc.
I used to take in unwanted animals and got them vet checked, the care they need etc. I asked for people's donations of items, and if they wouldn't mind if I tried to sell them to make some money to help with vet bills, some people were very helpful with gifting items and some people even just helped with the funds. Amazing generosity meant I could help lots of animals, whether it be giving them end of life care or neutering and so much more.
I like to help others when I can too. If I can't help I love to send them in the direction they may be able to get help and am always there to help support people if I can't physically or with cash/items.
That was so sweet of you iam a animal lover I hate to see anything bad happen to them breaks my heart when you see people treat them bad
I do try to help others who are not as fortunate as myself I don't have a lot myself but I have more than a lot of others I always try raise money for cancer charity's, do the kilt walk for chas ,give to food banks I bought loads of nappies, Wipes, food, toiletries sent it all to Ukraine I was brought up with nothing so I know what it's like I do try my best to help anyone who needs it or send then in the direction they need things are getting harder for everyone now so hopefully more people could help others out
I was just about to add a chat about this but you beat me to it .lol Happy random acts of kindness day
There’s a lady locally who has an afternoon tea business and most days she gives complete strangers a small box with scone. Often it’s just in a supermarket car park but recently to Ambulance staff. I know it's good advertising but more importantly it’s an act of kindess.
Pjran Yes you are right lots of people are wary now but I think your instinct is to help someone in need or upset. You do have to be careful but it's a calculated risk and it makes you feel good too. There is also the saying that is really true if you can't see the sunshine, be the sunshine
Not sure if it was an act of kindness, but a young lady told me I smelt nice in B&M today
At my age I'll take every compliment or act of kindness I can get.
