Told It's a Duplicate but It's Not.

Anyone else been told their competition is a duplicate and lost points when it isn't?
I've posted from two sites for months, they might be same item but a different owner group, now it's a duplicate.
same

kane122 mine was a competition. I post two a day from different owner groups but sometimes the prize is the same (look at Music comps) today the second posting is classed as a duplicate.
I think there’s a bug in the system. I responded to someone who commented on a chat thread I posted ages ago, and then I got one of those duplicate notifications with points removed - but then points reinstated. The topic was probably made months ago, if not a year or so (can’t be sure as it seems to be in the moderation pile)
Hey lilyflower
Please do drop us a query via the contact form if you have any questions about a moderation decision and then we can look into it specifically and hopefully resolve things for you
After feedback from compers we did a couple of months back clarify a guideline (https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/guidelines) - "If multiple websites/companies are running the same competition please only share it once unless the terms and conditions explicitly state that you can enter multiple times from each website/company." that sounds like it may be relevant here?
The idea behind it is that most competitions only allow you to enter once and potentially even disqualify you for multiple entries. Because of that we wanted to try and ensure the competition only appeared once on LD so that people could properly track the competitions they'd entered.
Hope that all makes sense but please do reach out if you have any further questions.
I'll lock this topic now as a personal support query.
