Tooth Brushes
Ask a Question
Which is best manual or an electric tooth brush.
And which brand do you find better?
I have had 2 oral B electric toothbrushes now and I would never go back to a manual toothbrush. I have never tried any other brand though
I've had a few electric brushes over the years and wouldn't go back to a manual. If you're are thinking of changing I would suggest getting one with a pressure sensor. (most of them come with quad pacers which makes the cleaning more thorough and sensors are helpful so your teeth and gums aren't damaged)
There's a brand called Fairywill on amazon that sell electric toothbrushes much cheaper than the big brands and a good place to start if you want to see what they're like.
I've always used Oral B, the toothbrush that i'm using now is over 7 years old and still perfect, I just buy the replacement heads online as so much cheaper than Boots etc. My dentist always says that I have a very good cleaning regime and have never been referred to the hygienist. The only time that I use a manual toothbrush is if I go away for a night or two, other than that pleased with the clean that my Oral B gives me.
I made a switch to using bamboo toothbrushes around about a year or so and wouldn't switch back
I have just recently switched from Oral B to Sonicare and find that one better than my Oral B which used to go faulty after a year or two
