Top Travel Experiences in the UK According to the Lonely Planet
In the News
Of the top 10, I’ve done 4, so I’ve still a lot more to do

do you agree with the listings?
Looking at this seems more cultural and historic based rather than anything else I'm thinking this may be aimed more at overseas visitors who like the historic significance and history associated with our country , Some strange entries thou Sunday Lunch, Punting in Cambridge and Visiting Borough Market, thou nothing wrong with any of these, classing them as a top Travel experience is going a bit far in my opinion
I agree. It certainly isn’t the kind of experiences I go for, but perhaps I just take some of them for granted. I have however recomended the Sunday roast as a much do for tourists in the past - definitely one of my faves over here
Wow that’s cool. That’s one I want to do at some point in the near future. Have a fun time there - it looks amazing
hspexy thanks - it does! Got loads else planned too - it's meant to be a really nice part of the world. But unfortunately it's raining for the entire first week of my stay.
hspexy best day of our trip to Northern Ireland so far (a little more than half way through now).
I have done 9 off the list. Some of these are of no interest to me. Don't we all just love a list...
