Tour De France Postponed + World Naked Bike Ride Has Been Cancelled

In the News

Not exactly unexpected, but the Tour de France has been postponed till the end of August this year due to the nasty virus. I'm glad it hasn't (currently) been cancelled. But, it looks like there will be a cluster of rearranged sporting events happening in quick succession later this year - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/52275648

Sadly World Naked Bike Ride in London has been cancelled. I imagine a lot of people on LD would have been taking part in June 😉 ☺️

Too right, but I think August is still too soon and they should just write off 2020 for all types of sporting events, festivals etc. Far better to write them off for this year than risk this thing creeping into 21 and even maybe 22.

Yes, it's difficult to plan for anything at the moment. Many postponed events may very well being moved again or end up being cancelled.

I think we'll survive without that naked bike ride. The only person I knew who took part in one was a very weird man.

Stapmevitals Yes. I have known quite a few people over the years I wouldn't want to cross paths with again. Life, eh? 😏

This brought many visions into my mind. I don't imagine for one minute that it would look remotely similar to the 'fat bottomed girls' record cover by Queen! 🐞

It is, but with a lot more adventurous people willing to bare all to shoppers and holidaymakers 🙈
