Tree with It's Own Mailing Address

In the Dodauer Forest in Germany there is the only tree in the world with it's own mailing address. It is about 500 years old and has it's own postman as well.
Small catch. Anybody is allowed to open, read and respond to mail.
The tree receives about 1,000 letters a year!
I wonder what people would write to a tree and what they would write or what response they would get back

I believe it got a message from the police , it was from the special branch 
It replied ''you are barking up the wrong tree ''
I was so intrigued about this, I looked it up before I noticed that tara73ziva had posted a link as I thought there must be legends around it. It's known as the Bridegroom’s Tree, so much more romantic than online dating 
It's is a lovely idea especially for someone who is lonely. To have interaction with someone, and to receive some letters back 
And the not knowing what might come is fun as well. Life is full of sweet surprises .There's some that love em and some that live in fear and anticipation.Bit like marmite lol.
