Ask a Question

I notice there are a lot of offers on Halloween decorations, costumes and sweets, but with Covid 19 & social distancing do you rhinestone will trick or treat?

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at 🤔

What do you mean by rhinestone?

I'm confused.

Personally, I will not be opening my door to any trick or treaters this year.

I was given advice to just leave a bucket of sweets outside the house for the kids, but the greedy buggers would just take the whole lot in one go.

I won't be trick or treating this year or opening the door to anyone but I think it is a good idea to buy Halloween assessories and decorations this year for next year

I’ll just be leaving a bucket of sweets out but I won’t be taking my own out this year. We’ll put up a few decorations, carve our pumpkins, maybe some biscuit decorating and crafts and watch Halloween movies 🎃

Halloween is my favourite time of year and I love handing out sweets to all the trick or treaters but I'm guessing most parents will keep their kids indoors this year.Which is the right thing to do.🎃

I really think trick and treat shouldn’t be encouraged. I’ve never approved of this Americanism as it frightens the elderly especially when groups of teenagers do it.

Im disabled and absolutely hate trick or treat, apart from the door knocking ive had the door kicked, things thrown at the door and house over the years. Ive never open the door and even hide up stairs but it always happends i have cctv but the police never do anything

I don't think it should go ahead. Unnecessarily contacts between strangers. Plus if kids go knock and lots of (sensible) people don't open the door the kids will be disappointed

The whole concept of Halloween should be abolished absolute waste of time and money and a excuse for thugs to put on a mask and do what ever they want.

We're in a cul-de-sac predominantly elderly people so we don't really get trick or treaters, It's my daughter's second halloween but the first with her being semi-aware so I think we're going to do a little family thing in the back garden, get dressed up, carve pumpkins, hang lights, maybe hide a few sweeties.

Sadly, I'm too old to go trick or treating and it wasn't really a thing when I was growing up. I would go trick or treating but I don't think people really want to give sweets to middle aged women 😀 I always watch a couple of horror films, carve a pumpkin, try and dress the cat up. 🎃 I love halloween. Hate christmas. I don't think I'll have any decs up this year as I don't know what box they are in or where they are..

I hate Halloween. Not one for dressing up. We usually ignore it.

I can't believe the government are going to let it go ahead as no-one is going to want to answer the door! I find it hard to comprehend that parents would be happy for their children to go trick and treating either - if I still had school age children - they certainly wouldn't be allowed to go. 🐞

My family won't be taking part in any Halloween Activities this year, we are just going to get some snacks in and have a scary film night instead.
