Have You Been on Tv?
Ask a Question
So annoyed watching Beat the chasers and a lot of these people seem to make a living of going on tv. Why are these companies picking the same people and not letting new faces on. I have been in the audience many times and once went for an audition but did not get picked.
I was once in the audience for The Old Grey Whistle Test, and I played a wench in the TV series Robin Hood with Michael Pread, if anyone remembers that far back
lilyflower I've got all the DVDs.
One of my favourites is Psycho Killer by Talking Heads.
A close second would have to be Roxette by Dr Feelgood.
Both were so tight.
Yes. Several times on TV and also a film. Many times on stage too. But alas, I no longer tread the boards. Had to focus on more grown up things... Xx
I went for a tipping point audition but obviously wasn't good enough, or maybe too good judging by some of the numpties on quiz shows.
I was on TV a couple of times when I've been to snooker competitions. I try not to be though.
I had some filming done recently for a TV home programme. In the end we didn't proceed and came to a mutual understanding it just wouldn't have worked out with timescales. Even the day they came to film the house and chat to us was quite stressful as they were trying to create issues that didn't exist, arguments between me and my other half and we felt like a lot was being done to create good TV. When I see the programme now and disagreements between what couples want I'm as I know it's all staged.
I got tickets to take the children to You’ve Been Framed once. I had just had a mole removed from my face and had a large dressing on, but didn’t want to disappoint the girls and assumed it would be dark in the studio. Just my luck - we were seated on the front row, right behind Lisa Riley!
Yes - as an 'expert' on BBC News channel, a participating audience member on Working Lunch, on local news a few times, Children In Need and a few Channel 5 programmes. I've been in the audience of a few quiz shows but don't think that counts! I've been a film extra too but not managed to spot myself.
eyeballkerry.in 2009 the bbc wanted to interveiw me for there segment on homeless and living in a hostel
I was going to do it.then i pulled out.there are some in society that look down upon homeless people which is wrong.
I forgot, back in October I was staying in a hotel in Norfolk and Michael Buerk was recording a show called Britains great pension crisis, I was filmed with him in the spa hot tub. This was broadcast in December. After filming my husband and I sat in the hot tub chatting with him. I still have it recorded on my tv.
I have appeared on Sportscene and BBC Alba in the crowd when celebrating our team scoring a goal. We were also in the sports section of the Daily Record, we were front and centre in the photo, you couldn't miss us. My Dad got really excited when he saw us in the paper! My mother in law has been on songs of praise and her local news channel, being interviewed for something.
My best friend won the Sports personality unsung hero of the year award in 2019, so she was on SPOTY on the BBC and got to meet the likes of Lewis Hamiliton and lots of other famous sports stars.
