Keeping up appearance. It will give you a good laugh. I've got the box set. All so Amazon do some great box's set. Some mother do have them, dads army, all the very best for your op when it comes around. Hope this has helped you.

Good Place, quiet funny...but there are so many different ones. Watching Luke Cage Marvel Hero series, full with action and West world is cool, Lost in Space, Sneaky Pete is interesting too.

I enjoyed the fourth and final series of The Bridge, which aired on BBC 2 recently. I won a Vikings seasons 1-4 Blu-ray box set not too long ago, still haven't watched it yet.

I had to resurrect this post as I have already started a chat today😀

When I was a kid I used to love watching The Baron and whenever I mentioned it to others (even as old as me) no one had ever heard of it. Got to a stage where I thought I imagined or dreamed it. Anyway, just flicking through the channels and an episode just started at 7pm on London Live. It starred Steve Forrest as The Baron but of course it looks very dated now.

Now, does anyone remember The Champions (early super power heroes) or Sgt. Cork who was a police officer very early last century?

Lynibis The Baron and The Champions were all products of ITC which was a huge British producer of TV and films back in the 60s and 70s with Lew Grade at the helm. However from what I remember the very commercial outlook of this company was not appreciated by some companies who were more artistically focused. Lew Grade was a brilliant businessman a rare thing it seems in the UK. He would often have a US actor at the helm of series to make exporting the series much easier not just to the USA but other countries too, there was the Baron, the Protectors, the Persuaders, The Adventurer, Dangerman, The Prisoner, Man in a Suitcase and I'm sure other series too. British series that had a US star as the main character. They would typically have great music, slick opening titles and often the same scripts re-used across different series. I still enjoy many of the series and its quite nostalgic to see the world from 40-50 years ago.

Many ITC series have a cult following around the world where as most tv series created by more artistically focused companies are forgotten. We need to create more Lew Grades. He had fantastic positivity about the TV series he made and the people who made them.
