What type of music are you into?
I don’t really have a specific genre of music I enjoy but I generally just listen to what’s on the radio
I mainly listen to music from the 70s and 80s. Those such as Michael Jackson, Elton John, Queen and many others from those eras.
RegularComper90 my favourite music is mostly from the 70s. Slade, mud, wizard .I also like quite a bit from the 80s.Ed Sheeran is probably my favourite these days.
I listen to alot of genres but rock is my favourite. I listen to alot of current rock artists but I prefer 70s/80s rock. My all time fav artist is Bob Seger. I wish I'd been around in those days to see the likes of these performances.
Glitterandgold omg have u listened to the band called falling in reverse? I them!
AaBbCcDdEeFu I hadn't. But just listened to a couple tracks & they sound good.
Most things... excluding dance / trance rubbish but my fave is acoustic / chilled music like Ed Sheeran or Passenger... also love acoustic covers of songs that make them more chilled..
I pretty much like all good music even country and western but my favourite music is probably from the 80s with music from the 70s and 90s a close second. I used to be massively into Depeche Mode, Japan, Echo and the bunnymen, Blancmange, Erasure and synthesisor pop music. Later I liked prodigy and pendulum and weird stuff like infected mushroom. Have been listening to Ladytron and Orbital recently.
MelissaLee1963 I prefer their earlier music and also some of their tracks have a really slow start that I find annoying, sometimes the decent music seems to start a minute into the track. If you like pendulum you might like them as some of the tracks can sound a bit similar. I don't think they are the most consistent artist though, I probably only like about 1 in 4 tracks.
BonzoBanana Thanks for the heads up B.I am of an age where I enjoy fresh encounters and new learning taken daily as growth medicine.
I have such a varied taste. I love a bit of metal having seen Ozzy, Marilyn Manson and other bands in concert. I love my Ibiza dance classics and the occasional holiday in Ibiza but I also love Motown music as my parents always had it playing.
I generally just normally listen to the radio but i think 90's would be my choice of station but on the opposite side i cant not stand ed sheeran, i turn it over to the closet channel as soon as he appears
Any music I can understand the words to as being partly deaf struggle with some more than others
I like anything from jungle to classic, metal to soul. I’m always open to listening to new things. When I heard throat singing, I was blown away - particularly the Hu, who have mixed throat singing with metal
I do like abit of nostalgic 90s dance. Reminds me of some of the wild nights I had growing up during those years.
I will usually listen to anything but I love 60's, 70's and 80's British rock and pop music
I went through a stage when I was a teenager where I would only listen to Evanescence, Rammstein and Marilyn Manson
RichardDoolin deffo Cradle of Filth and My Dying Bride. A good friend of mine got me into My Dying Bride
Chelsea0121 Some of my favourite bands, I have seen Evanescence live a few times they are brilliant.
Eclectic tastes.Little bit of everything except cacophony and monotony and singers who screech and howl like they're in pain. Although I am a guitarist I abhor unending self indulgent guitar solos. I much prefer a well ordered and well orchestrated bridge or melodic fill in.
I like 60s music but enjoy most types. I wish radio programmes like Radio 2 wouldn’t have so much chat - I always end up turning it off! I more often than not end up listening to Classic FM.
I tend to keep going back to 90’s Britpop, it’s the time when I used to go clubbing! I also love The Saw Doctors, an irish folk band, that I started listening to when I was 15. My tastes have not changed much in the last 20 years!
T-Rex
David Bowie
Queen
Weezer
Evanescence
Rammstein
Three Days Grace
U2
Papa Roach
Paramore
Linkin Park
Seether
Foo Fighters
Nirvana
A day to Remember
Green Day
Miley Cyrus
Elton John
I like a lot of songs covering a lot of different genres but my favs atm are more ‘indie’ (I don’t really know what the genres called). So Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Maximo Park etc.
Eclectic tastes. So something of everything in so far it is harmonious and doesn't send you reeling.
I love everything, I dont think genre matters as long as its a good tune. Having said that I have no idea what's in the charts
For the most part rock music, 70s and 80s rock mainly but then I do love some of the more modern bands. Generally I will quite happily listen to most stuff with a guitar. I do listen to modern pop stuff and can tolerate it but I can't tolerate stuff like dubstep and trance and any stuff like it, sounds like a hamster having whooohaaa with your brain stem and I don't enjoy that feeling
