Unsalted Crisps
Other
Has anyone seen those crisps which are unsalted but come with a sachet of salt in case you wanted to add some?
What do you think of this option?
I think they are great for people that need to follow a low salt diet due to heart issues etc. As you can just leave the salt out.
I like them According to Wikipedia they have been around since the 1920s and are 'one of the United Kingdom's oldest brands of potato crisp'
RegularComper90 Not really, I was too busy lingering around the Cadbury's factory during that decade
They are not new, they have been my choice all my life as I don't like salt. Going off subject but I just love a crisp sandwich with fresh bread.....yum!
Try a little brown sauce on crisp butties, not had one for many years but the memories linger
I like the crisp salty....I do not think so, if we add the salt later it will be the same and get everywhere. I saw in a documentary they rotate the crisp with the spices and that is how it gets everywhere.
I think it's brilliant! Used to have them all the time when I was little, they where my favourate. Although, I find I have to add more salt as I can't usually tase a difference otherwise.
Yes. Walkers Salt N Shake. I remember having those as a child. I still do prefer Walkers ready salted over them though
yes, and I have purchased them once - never again. I don't mind my crisps pre-flavoured, as I don't need to do extra work before I scoff my crisps!
Tasteless for me but unsalted french fried chips are fine.
Walkers chips are kinda like Ruffles but nowhere near as much variety, and they don't even sell jamon chips. Then again, they'd probably charge £1.50 for a 150g pack.
I never got on with them as a child, one crisp far too salty the rest of the bag very boringly plain. Leave it up to the professional crisp people to get it right
