Getting Paid for Walking: Has Anyone Tried CASHWALK?

Other

Image

Has anyone else discovered the CASHWALK app? Iv had it a few days now. You get a coin for every 100 steps and can get 100 coins a day. You can earn coins in other ways to. You only need 1250 for a £5 gift voucher. Worth having the app If you want to make a little extra just for your everyday walking around 🙂 I haven’t cashed anything out yet but thought I would see if anyone else has tried it yet.

Is this app any good? I've tried one or two similar ones and it seems impossible to earn anything

I built up quite a few points, as always on the move. Unfortunately it wouldn't let me cash out, just error constantly. Deleted it x

I deleted it after 3 days. It didn't record any of my steps, I tried loads of different things and just wouldn't count them. It also drained my battery and slowed my phone down. I would consider using abouther walking app but not this one.

Did anyone else get a message from cashwalk they are increasing the amount of coins available to collect from 100 coins a day to now 200 coins.

This is great news for those who easily do 20,000 steps a day.

sam07 nah I can’t say I have. I can still only get 100 max. Did it give any indication when that’ll increase?

csjamesliu No indication I just received a message one morning saying its increased.

My husband and son are still on a 100 daily coins so I imagine its just random.

Bonnylass3 I personally think its a brilliant app I have cashed out multiple times with gift cards available.

I think with walking your dogs twice a day will build up your coins in no time.

Yeah the only thing is they seem to up the coins needed for a gift card quite regularly without telling people now - I haven’t joined that long and they’ve pretty much doubled the No of coins needed to get a £5 card

Anyone tried to redeem recently? I dont seem to be getting the verification code that’s supposed to be sent to your mobile no even though it’s the same one I’ve used previously and has worked fine before

csjamesliu Oh wow! When did this happen? It was 1500 when I started and I managed to redeem 2. The second at 2500. First I have seen this 3750!

I mean fair enough they have to increase it but what bugs me is the sneaky way they do it and all of a sudden it’s gone up by 50%

csjamesliu Completely agree with you. They could at least give a warning/notification. Most other things do. Tip: Use it when you go up and down the stairs at home!

I was so excited yesterday as I hit my target of 2,500 to get my reward but yet again they have put it up, it’s now 3,750. Back out I go!

If it weren't for the fact I am doing the walking anyway I'd have deleted this App ages ago.

If they have to raise the coins needed for a reward at least warn people so that those with enough for a voucher can cash out before it goes up.

It's good to see they are getting a bit of a roasting on the reviews In the App store.

blacklabrador that’s exactly what i thought as well, it is a little annoying to be working towards a certain points total and then the goal post moves. But hey still vouchers for nothing

The games you can play in the bonus section provide a good source of coins, some you only have to play once to get a reward.

Most seem to track, the only ones I’ve played that haven’t is Monopoly Solitaire and tower

I am a regular user of Cashwalk app. And I got £5 Amazon gift card. It’s really good to get anything just doing nothing much. Getting paid for walking. So relaxing this words. I won more £5 gift cards. And it’s pushing me to walk more. ☺️

I use cashwalk and have never had any problems getting rewards paid out. The only real issue is the games, at first i got the points rewards for hitting the goals but for the past 2 or 3 months they haven’t credited my account and there is no response from customer services.

For anyone using cashwalks i’d say just stick to steps for getting coins.

I use it. I have managed 2 £5 Amazon vouchers since starting using it. I now have a third to apply for. Takes some time building up though, a few years now. I don’t play games but I open the ad boxes for bonus coins. I don’t watch, I just let run on silent and do something else. I don’t want to listen to drivel. Walking round supermarkets, up and down stairs as well as out and about.

£5 voucher has jumped from 3750 coins all the way up to 6250 coins, will possibly still keep it for a bit but probably not worth it anymore as it drains the battery and will take months to get anything.

jms19 Didn’t realise it has doubled the target. I might stop using it too if it becomes too hard to meet.

JLouM it wouldn't be so bad if they paid out the rewards for playing the games but I've done a few and then they didn't pay out and no one ever replies when trying to complain.

I know it's not a laughing matter, but I put my Sister on to the app about 3 months ago.

She's yet to cash out, as no sooner does she get withing sniffing distance of a voucher then they up the cash out threshold. 😆

Found out last night they had put the points up for cashing out on cashwalk. Absolutely gutted as I had enough on Monday but due to working had no time to cash out.

My wife’s been using it for about a year now, getting on quite well but frustrated by the fact they keep increasing how many points you need to earn to claim vouchers
