Varicose Veins
Ask a Question
Has anyone got some advice on varicose veins? I already wear compression socks every other day. Try to keep my legs elevated for a bit everyday. But I feel with pregnancy it got much worse. Gps dont care unless it hurts badly, bleeds etc. What else could I do trying fo prevent it from getting it worse?
I’m afraid I’m not going to be very helpful. Mine were bad during my second pregnancy and after I gave birth i had them removed on the understanding I would have no more children. I then went on and had two more children. My veins are ok although I have some pains now and again and I haven’t got the prettiest legs. The scars are very small.
eyeballkerry they dont operate unless its really bad. Also I been told it can come back... my left leg is worse than right. It kinda started to get a bit lumpy in placesI was looking at getting it done privately.. but it's like nearly £2,000 per leg?!...
Unless you laser remove them I don't think anything helps. Other than standing for long periods of time.
