Veterans Not Allowed to Sell Poppies outside This Year Due to Covid-19
In the News
I was saddened to hear that our precious Veterans are not allowed to stand outside to sell their Poppies for thier Poppy Appeal this year due to Covid-19 Please remember you can still buy your poppies at the Local Shops and Supermarkets etc.. I for one shall be throwing a few extra pennies their way this year because without them where would we be today??? I dread to think.. So my message is:. Love Our Veterans & Support The Poppy Appeal..
I've seen a few around town I got 2 teddy bears from them for my sons on Monday. I'm sure they will love them. I do still need to buy us a poppy each and one of my boys one to go on zip he lost his
Have you.. that's great to know!! The paper ones are better for the kids because they will lose them won't they They've got some lovely poppies nowadays though
My wife ordered some pins and zip poppys on their website and got delivered fairly quickly
Be sad not to see them around this year but saying that i wont be going out much anyway. Ive always worn a poppy since a child so no difference this year but will get one from a supermarket instead
It will be sad not to see them but like you are doing, we can still support them in the supermarkets
