Watching Counting On, Are You from a Large Family?

I am watching Counting On, a TV series about the Duggans family who had 19 children and their children are now having children. It made me think are families getting smaller?

My granddad was 1 of 8, my Mum was 1 of 5, I'm 1 of 3 and I had one child.

depending on the culture, most are getting smaller. My nan was the youngest of 20...by the time she was born, her eldest sister already had her first baby

There is a British family called the Radfords I think they have 20 or 21 kids, they are deffo fun to watch when they have specials on TV. I used to watch 19 kids and counting all the time until it was cancelled, They have a spin off show called counting on that focuses more on the oldest daughters.
