Finally the Olympics have arrived. What are waiting for and what are you watching? I enjoy anything to do with gymnastics. I am recording each day and fast forwarding to my favourite bits. Good to see Great Britain off to a good start, well done James, Max and Joe ( Gymnastics).
We haven’t done yet, but will do soon. That’s a good idea to record and fast forward but I’d need to delete some stuff first to make room! I love the swimming and athletics although I enjoy most sports as long as I know who to support.
I have the same problem with storage. I record so much than spend ages deleting loads to make room for more, that I haven’t got time to watch.
It was odd watching the opening ceremony when it looked like there were only two people in the audience plus only seeing some countries turning up with 3 or 4 people.
cant help but think it all feels a bit flat this year. Maybe it will get going and I guess a few big wins for team GB might help, but feel they should have cancelled it and waited another year.
Do enjoy watching the olympics, not really seen it on tv so far.
We like to watch most of the sports, apart from the cycling as that’s not our thing!
We do watch the Paralympics also.
Watched the skateboarding early morning and then watched Jade Jones getting dumped out by one of the refugee team. She was huuuuuuuge, mind.
Won't be watching much except if MrsChimp wants to watch the equestrian.
All I can say further is I'm looking forward to davidstockport competing in the Zimmer frame competition in the the 2024 games 
We’re watching the skateboarding as we’re finally taking up the sport after many years of saying we will do it! Looking forward to seeing Sky Brown compete as she seems pretty awesome and the kind of role model I want my daughter to look up to.
I love watching the athletics and gymnastics! They’re so interesting and just always great!
Yes, I'm up late watching live coverage... Just saw Tom Dean and Duncan Scott take gold & silver in the Men's 200m freestyle. Another great result in the pool after Adam Peaty's win yesterday.
