Hate Xmas songs and stores that play them loud makes me shop online even more. And the school choirs singing in supermarket is like cats getting struggled

I think the problem is that all the Christmas songs being played in stores nowadays are the cheesy modern remake versions, as opposed to the originals. The remakes to me don't at all feel Christmassy

RegularComper90 just can't deal with them I was in pound land once I asked them to turn music down as forgot what I came in for and was so distracting. Her reply was they told by head office to play loud music because have secret shoppers in and quiet music gives bad points.

There are so many Christmas songs it's hard to pick a favourite. I have a new one each year, I have 'where are you Christmas' from the Grinch stuck in my head this year

Die Hard. Oh, song. The original Band Aid song is good. I do enjoy a bit of Mariah Carey as well.

Don't think you can get anything better. This is also my brother in laws all time favourite and he wants sit played at his funeral, my sister would like it to be summer (when the time comes) - for the confusion factor.

An absolutely brilliant song, it's just a shame that they blank out some of the words these days, at least they did last year.

You'd probably be surprised what is blanked out or removed from films too (which you only realise if you watch the films a lot and know them backwards).

I think the problem with Christmas songs is that they start being played in shops and on the radio so early that you are sick of them by Christmas!

I like O Holy Night by Johnny Mathis and One More Sleep by Leona Lewis.

Another vote for Fairy tale of New York. I quite like Stop the Cavelry too.

Love a good xmas song what annoys me is when your work in retail and they start getting played in September. Least wait till December to start playing Christmas songs.

I love Christmas music so much, I prac have to hold myself back from listening to it during the rest of the year. My favourite song off all time is Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Darlene Love.

It's got to be the Pogues with Kirsty Maccoll - Fairytale of New York. We all think we are in tune (we are not!) but it really doesn't matter.

I suppose my favourite carol "Away in a Manger". I love "Last Christmas"by Wham but can't stand "Its Christmas " by Slade. Don't mind Christmas music in December but it really annoys when they start playing it in September
