What's Your Job?
Ask a Question
I am curious to know what people do for a living as I am to decide that myself.
So what's your job and do you like it?
Thank you for all of your suggestions, advices and experiences shared!
While I'm not going to answer directly, have you considered what you enjoy doing? Any hobbies you can turn into a career? Any skills you'd enjoy exploring as a career?
You don't want a job. You want a career. You want something you enjoy doing - you'll have to spend your life doing it after all.
I do breathing for a living. I also eat and drink various foods and beverages.
Without any of those things, I wouldn't at all be living.

I work in a cafe in my local village and ive been there just over 10 years. I started when i was a teenager doing a few hours on a saturday and now it pays the bills. I love my regular customers, half of them i see more than my family
I love my retirement job being a passenger assistant for children in care, travelling to see parents. We sing songs, play I-spy, chat away and for longer journeys I download cartoons on to my tablet to keep them amused.
They respond really well to a granny figure but too often I want to take them home with me as most are adorable!
I think you need to think about what your interests are and your skills, and how much you need to reasonably earn for your standard of living, and put the three together to work out what would be suitable for you.
