How Will You Commute to Work after Lockdown?

One recent report warned that maintaining a 2m (6ft 6in) distance between Tube passengers in London, for example, would reduce its capacity to 15% of normal levels, and buses to 12%.
But if more people take to the streets, will the road network cope?
My guess is it’ll be utter chaos! But some work places will require staff to work from home, probably in shifts, so that could alleviate the congestion
This social engineering as much as they try, they won't have their way. People know what to do to be safe though they're not going to abide like sheep... Well, some will, I guess.
They may know what to do but, just like disobedient children, I would say at least 50% aren't doing it! Listening to the radio recently there was a constant stream of stories of people having parties, guests in their home and even our so called betters breaking the rules. Obeying advice to keep safe does not make us sheep.
The first few paragraphs in that article are absolute cobswaddle. In fact, most of it is. There is no chance they can control people to the level being suggested. The whole article has clearly been written by someone on coke, looking at some of the suggestions. They know nothing about travel infrastructure. Honestly I'm disappointed by this from the BBC of all people.
I will have no choice but to use public transport. And there is no way TFL will be able to achieve any form of distancing, not when the services often have issues, and the spacing on the tube/trains are already as narrow as possible
This isn't really workable. It was already a bit of a nightmare commuting to work in London before the lockdown. For example, if you have ever been around Oxford Circus tube during rush hour, approx 6pm, it's a crazy mass of people thronging around the station trying to enter. If TFL tried to have a queue at that station, with a 2 metre gap, it would take up the whole (long) street. If these measures were implement I can foresee fights occurring between frustrated and tired commuters. What are they going to do at lunchtime when hungry workers want something to eat if they are still restricting entry numbers into supermarkets or sandwich shops. With long queues many wouldn't have enough time to get something to eat during their lunch break 
You’re right. Travel in London was already chaotic pre-coronavirus, and once the lockdown is lifted, people are perhaps going to go a little crazy. It doesn’t help that most entrances to stations are narrow as hell, and services never run smoothly

This is all very well being said but a lot of people didn’t abide by lockdown rules despite social distancing if this is put into place it could cause a lot of issues as some people will just do what they want.
I can see our company allowing more people to work remotely as it's been proven that people can do it.
I would normally have to go to central London once a week which mean three trains and a tube journey of around 3 hours. I can't see this happening anytime soon, combined with the worry of hot desking.
God I hate hot desking. It’s one thing I hope is removed permanently, at least for now they may have to stop it for hygiene reasons
I drive to work, so luckily won't be affected at all by having to dial distance.
Oh and am I happy not to live in London. It's hell at the best of times on the tube - can't imagine it being much fun right now!
I don’t drive so would have to get the bus. However (luckily??) I am a civil servant and can work from home so I won’t have to think about it for a while. It scares me thinking about having to get the bus to the supermarket once a month never mind daily
