Going out, it's a Saturday so I'll probably doing some shopping and if a market is open will head there too. The 5th however I'll look to get my haircut by a professional, I can only do so much on my own and I've done a decent job of it so far

Nothing different, I live in Wales so the restrictions are different here but I wouldn't be going to the shops or anything else anyway, would rather stay safe for now as we're far from in the clear yet

Most things I use are already open and have been for a while. You have been able to buy alcohol from pubs, bars and restaurants for weeks if you drink outside, which is fine when the weather is nice. I would go to the cinema, theatre, etc, but most will still be closed on the 4th.

Nothing is draffrant hear in Scotland which I please about. All this is going to fast for me. And I think there will be another lock down coming and this time is going to be a lot worse. I happier that Scotland is taken things much slower. It will be a very long time be for I feel safe to go out. I am very like I live on a farm. 🤔🤐

I won't be doing anything differently. I'm in Scotland so the rules are different, but even if they weren't I still wouldn't be going out. The furthest I've been is for a walk each day with my son. He has a cardiologist appointment on Friday and that will be the furthest I've gone! I don't feel safe taking my son out.

I will not be changing my Lockdown routine either. Fair to say I have survived for 3 months another month will not be a hardship. I personally don't like crowds anyway. Happy to keep my shopping online and see friends for intimate garden parties. At least we have the weather for it at the moment. Xx

I can well imagine your trepidation regarding Friday. Hasn't the time gone quickly! Hope everything goes well for you. x

Ceebers the only reason I went out was for my sons playgroups and we would go to the supermarkets etc afterwards. I am like you, happy to do my shopping online and not a massive fan of crowds either. I did this for 9 months last year so I'm finding it really easy. My son is loving the nice weather, he is running in and out the house and loves being in the garden xx

angemski thank you. He has been doing really well recently so I'm hoping that it will be a straightforward appointment and that he can come off his last medication x

I won't be doing anything different on the 4th. Ironic that it's also Independence Day for the US - there's not much freedom that is guaranteed 'safe' here at the moment. I do worry that those who haven't broken the rules or who will continue to 'shield' will suffer, in the future, as a result of being institutionalised.

I will be shielding too - I’m looking forward to being able to go shopping for baby clothes and furniture once it is safe to leave the house properly again.. ikea has only just opened back up in Scotland this week so I will probably need to wait a month before it’s quiet enough to go there and Primark is still yet to open 🤦🏻‍♀️
