Going Back To Work
Ask a Question
So the dreaded day is coming back to me......work! I go back on tues. When do others go back to work and are we looking forward to it or is that a silly question?
Tuesday for me as well, I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to it, but I'm just thankful I have a job. My son has been furloughed so hoping he still has a job in 2021.
But I feel sorry for all of those who had to work over Christmas, especially the NHS who have been working flat out this year ....
I hope I don't come across as being too pompous as it wasn't meant that way
Be glad you have. Others wish they'd still had theirs or that their business was still open.
I finished work on the 17th,I am due back on the 5th Of January, all being well with the transport situation in France after brexit. My oh was finished on the 23rd but has been on call over Christmas. He is working today and that should be him until the 3rd. I like my job so not a thought for me to go back. Although it’s good going to bed knowing that the alarm won’t be going off at 4.15am
I’m a cakemaker, made one last night and just about to decorate now but I can’t complain because as soon as I’m finished that’s me until 2nd jan x
I really don't want to go back to work as I do not feel my job is essential. They say it is worse now than at start but expect us to mix with many households and be in vehicles with 0 to 16 year olds not even wearing masks. If it is worse now how come we were shut down throughout first lockdown but ok to work now.
I am back at work today after taking 3 days off. Thankfully I have a job and feels fairly secure. I personally rather be working so happy to be here, however Im not convinced that we are an essential business, feel it's stretching that a bit. But due to working Ina tier 4 and living in a different tier 4 I feel the travel (40miles each way) is stupid but hey it's a job
