Xbox or Ps4

I'm not a gamer so don't have any of the machines, but sensible thinking would be the Xbox so at least games could be shared and to save overall cost and ongoing costs.

I used to be a console gamer but switched to PC. Out of the two I MUCH prefer the Xbox.

Everyone has a preference it seems though

My son said Xbox because able to family share games and now you can play them on pc

PS5 and the next Xbox are gonna be out next year by Christmas. So if you're willing to wait a little longer then you'll be able to get the next gen than one that's going to become last-gen.

My son is a gamer and he says Xbox is much preferable.

I weighed up the pros and cons of both a year ago (there's plenty of articles comparing them) and chose the PS4 - there are more exclusive games for the PS4. But it depends on his tastes and what his friends use (if he'll play online). But as someone said, the next generation consoles are out in about a year - best to wait if you can!

Thanks everyone for you comments. Think we’re defo going with the Xbox as it’s a present for this Christmas. We generally trade in the consoles so will probably end up at some point with the new Xbo. Most friends have switches or Xbox. i personally think becaUse of their ages the Xbox is better for them.
