Heinz Pizza - Yes or No?
Ask a Question
I came across this at Tesco...
My immediate answer was... NO - but have you tried it?
I've never tried it and would definitely not go out of my way to buy it, but I can imagine it's a bit like beans on toast.
I usually stick to a safe margarita but sometimes have been on the side so I may well enjoy this combination.
They are suppose to be an Iceland exclusive.
Iceland do a lot of items like this, I love their Blackjack ice lollies.
Heinz have quite a few items out, including Beanz filled Hash Browns, which I would try.
Judging by the reviews it is mainly sauce, not many beans and apparently it is an old product brought back but worse
If I saw it on a good deal, I might give it a go, but probably cheaper to make your own or just sticking to cheese on toast.
Captain Beany of Port Talbot, is selling his Baked Bean Museum of Excellence items, apart from his baked bean themed coffin. You can't say he wasn't dedicated, he even has a charity tattoo on his head of baked beans filled with donators initials to help raise money.
So I'd assume that is one person that would try it, if he hasn't already
Heinz have fallen out of favour with me.Soup and beans are silly money and they definitely aint the best anymore.
I used to have baked beans pizza every time I went round my best friends house when I was younger and it's the best thing, so 100000%. YES
Whilst I'm a fan of both beans and pizza I think they should remain separate entities. Heinz beans aren't my favourite anyway. I prefer other brands.
I can't imagine it being that nice or reasonably priced. Most Heinz stuff nowadays is best avoided in my opinion. There are better or equally good alternatives that are significantly cheaper.
I think it wouldn't be very appealing to look at but I've got to say it sounds nice and it would go together
I seem to remember reading that someone who worked at a generic food processing factory made both Heinz and supermarket brands food as well as other brands. So not all branded food comes from their own factories. They are basically buying from other factories and then putting on an extra margin for themselves. Seems madness as a consumer to pay extra just to get a badge slap on a box. Product quality and price should be the only things considered when buying at least for me. I've no interest in sending off extra money to the USA especially with the huge trade deficit and debts we have which are now really starting to hit home and show the collapse of public services.
They've bean out for quite some time. Never brought myself to trying one. I love pizza but doubt this would work.
It is something I would try just to see what it was like, as long as it wasn't ridiculously expensive. I don't buy Heinz items, too expensive.
