These are only about 8 megapixel and upscale to 48 megapixel which is a complete waste of time, storage and battery power and the results are terrible. There is also no actual zoom its just cropping into the centre of the image. The lens is fixed focus and fixed distance. It's just a toy camera that has been styled to look like an adult camera. You will get far better results by buying an older Japanese camera which will perform incredibly in comparison and should be cheaper too. CEX often do a good range of compact digital cameras online and you get a 2 year warranty.
