Sky UK Limited formerly known as British Sky Broadcasting Limited and B SkyB is a telecommunications company serving the country. They provide television and broadband internet services, fixed line and mobile telephone services to consumers and businesses in the UK. It is one of the largest pay-TV broadcasters and the most popular digital TV service across the country until it was overtaken by Freeview in 2007.
Their present services dates back to 1989, when BSkyB's predecessors Sky Television plc and British Satellite Broadcasting encrypted their respective film channels – Sky Movies and The Movie Channel which required viewers to get decoding equipment and a subscription to watch the channels. After the two companies merged, subscribers could get access to both channels, and later the sports channel Sky Sports also became encrypted. The equal merger of Sky Television and British Satellite Broadcasting in 1990 made the company UK's largest digital subscription television company.
Sky is the brand name for Sky plc's United Kingdom digital satellite television and telecommunications services. Slogans that have used for marketing include "What do you want to watch?", "Entertainment your way" and the current slogan "Believe in Better". They have also aired several advertisements featuring characters from Minions, Inside Out, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Secret Life of Pets and The Lego Batman Movie.

What are the delivery options for Sky?
Phones, tablets and selected mobile accessories will be delivered by courier, free of charge. They will let you know about delivery methods and timescales when you order. If you've ordered a phone or tablet with a credit agreement and a mobile accessory, these will be delivered together.
Delivery times of orders confirmed:
- By 9pm Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next working day.
- After 9pm Thursday and by 9pm Friday will be delivered on Saturday (excluding deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands).
- After 9pm Friday and by 3pm Sunday will be delivered on Monday.
- After these times or during Bank Holidays, allow up to two working days.
- Some mobile accessories will be delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class post within 3 - 5 working days.
Buy & Keep
You can choose from a great range of movies and TV shows to buy directly through your Buy & Keep compatible Sky+HD or Sky Q box by using your Sky remote. If you ever replace or upgrade your Buy & Keep compatible Sky+HD box, they’ll make sure your purchases are automatically transferred to your new box once you've paired your viewing card. As long as you're a Sky subscriber, they will be able to transfer your recordings each time you get a new Sky box. And your DVD is yours to keep and watch again and again.
Your Buy & Keep DVD should arrive in the post within ten working days of making your purchase. Or, if it’s available as an early release/pre-order purchase, you should receive the DVD within ten working days of the physical DVD release date. You can track the progress of your DVD delivery by signing into My Orders using your Sky iD details or on their or website.

How do I return an item to Sky?
If you’ve changed your mind and no longer want your phone or tablet, you can return it and request a refund within 31 days of it being delivered. If you need to return your phone, tablet or any mobile accessories, they can either send you a pre-paid envelope to send it back to them in, or you can print off a pre-paid postage label. You can only return phones, tablets and mobile accessories bought from them.
After you’ve let them know, you’ll need to send it back to them within 14 days. If you don’t return your device within this time any refunds will be cancelled and, if you have a credit agreement, your monthly phone payments will continue. All items must be returned in their original condition, including the original box, the phone/tablet, undamaged and without any security features or personal accounts activated, charger and any accessories that came in the box. You’ll receive any refunds within 14 days of them either receiving your device or receiving evidence from you that the device has been returned to them (such as a proof of postage receipt), whichever is the earliest. They will make any refund using the original payment details you gave them.
All Sky TV and Broadband equipment is covered by a 12 month warranty, so they’ll happily send out a free replacement if your item fails during this time. If your item's more than a year old, you’ll need to pay for a replacement. You can arrange a refund or replacement by contacting the online accessories support team by following the link in your item’s order confirmation email. If you’re unable to find this, email the support team at email@example.com, including your order reference, full name and billing address.
You may return your Sky Soundbox within the cooling off period, giving you 31 days from the date it was delivered. They will process your return and tell you how to return your items by using their prepaid postage label. After you’ve let them know, you’ll need to send it and all accompanying equipment back to them within 14 days. If you don’t return it within this time any refunds will be cancelled.
