Special Offer - TIP - How To Get A C&C Or Delivery Slot At ASDA For Next Week
What's the best time to get an ASDA delivery / click & collect slot?
8AM. ASDA releases new slots 7 days in advance at 8AM every day.
More information:
I know lots of people are struggling to get to the shops and getting a delivery slot or click and collect at the moment is very nearly impossible but I have come up with a tip to get you a delivery or click and collect slot in the next week for ASDA.
ASDA are only releasing their delivery and click and collect slots one week in advance unlike Tesco and Sainsburys where you can book up to 3 weeks in advance but still get nothing so, basically this morning I logged on and they released the dates for next Friday (24th) for both click and collect and delivery.
Click and Collect
Delivery
So basically log on around 8am and head straight for the slots a week away and book your slot. You can even get click and collect for free if you spend over £25 (£3 basket charge under) and don't forget, if you get a substitution that costs more, you will only pay the original price.
I hope this helps you anyway - let me know if it works for you!
Just book the slot and add the basics then you can edit and add more up in the 2 days before your shopping is due up until 10pm. It helps them manage their stock and you have more chance of getting what you ordered too.
ASDA George offers free click and collect. But before you place your order, double check by entering your postcode that click and collect is available at your store. Standard delivery costs £3.50.
ASDA Rewards is ASDA's free loyalty scheme. You can get 10% cashback on Star products. You earn ASDA Pounds into a Cashpot to exchange into ASDA vouchers.

That has changed today. They usually release slots at 24:00.
They've changed it now to be live. So, when someone releases a slot it becomes available to someone else.
Sorry to say but they modulate when they release slots; a few days ago when I booked they suddenly all became available at 4am (yes, I'm that desperate I set up my alarm to go off EVERY HOUR) - 100% promise everyone that all supermarkets modulate their release times to stop people from basically telling others when to book their slot. If you want a slot check every supermarket every hour - I wish you the best of luck - stay safe and be well!
Any hints for getting morrisons slots i have a voucher with short date got guiness this morning si will try at midnight
Imnotcheap Morrisons are difficult, queuing to get on the website at the moment. Just keep refreshing and trying or you can order one of their food boxes or if you are vulnerable, they are doing the phone line one - all details here >> https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals/morrisons-doorstep-deliveries-vulnerable-call-order
Morrisons slots are available between 1:30pm to 2pm but u need to be quick because they go in seconds..

Can I just quickly ask about substitutes, so if it costs more I just pay what I asked for? But say I ask for a Asda product that is 500g and they send a named product that is 400g and equal price or slightly more. I’m going to loose out? They also say they won’t take back substitutes. Sorry but new to this. Thanks
Clubman This is only in my personal experience with Asda, if you order something 300g and they only have 200g available they usually provide you with 2 x 200g for the price of your one regular 300g. In regards to substitutions, no supermarket are taking them back at the moment due to contact issues so if you don't want to risk it , untick the sub box on that particular item or if you want to take a chance and it's not right, you need to call them and they are refunding them. Happened to me with a Tesco delivery last week.
Clubman that's the gamble you take at the moment unfortunately you can ask not to have substitutes but I made that mistake and I didn't get any of the basics I needed like milk ,bread and butter as the hadn't got the size or brand in stock.
Good luck.x
Clubman that's right, but if you are unhappy with a substitute you can get a refund online, before the lockdown happened I complained to the driver that my 6 pints of milk was substituted for 4 pints of branded expensive milk and he immediately refunded it,so if you feel you have lost out you can request a refund.
Clubman normally any item you do not want (substituted or ordered) you can just hand the item/s back to the driver and you get a refund. However with the current situation and no contact delivery I am not sure what the procedures are. I have an order coming Sunday... Will update.
You can currently ask for refund on substitute you dont like but keep item for asda or turn off substitute per item
I haven't found this..I can get a delivery slot by booking slots 1 week in advance by going on line JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT..Never failed yet
BillyNicholson lucky you iv had no luck doing it this way. I could of got a Tesco one on 5th April for 26th, it was £7 too only happened once
I booked a slot this morning at 7 and added some essentials when I finished my order at10.30 the slot had gone.
BryanWhite did it let you still get the slot...if it didnt the trick is to put just a few things in the basket then checkout ..confirms the delivery then you can go back and finish you shop and amend basket.x
Same as Iceland try from 10am to get a delivery slot for sometimes the same day or day later
Iceland are continually changing the times when slots become available. Furthermore when they substitute an item with an item that costs less they don't amend the price, I ordered something that was £1.25 they substituted it with a thing that cost £1 - they still charged £1.25. I wouldn't think charging more than the advertised price is actually legal.
Also the carrier bag charge isn't reduced if, because of some things being out of stock, not as many bags are required and fewer supplied.
davidstockport I have noticed that I got 1 carrier bag, the rest in crates which I emptied but still got charged 50p carrier bag charge
Rereleaser01 I just assumed when I saw the initial 50p charge that it was an estimated five bags at 10p each. (I got four). It will be interesting to see if others have been charged 50p regardless of the number of bags supplied. Also interesting to know if others have had a lower priced item substitute without any price deduction.
On the positive side they don't charge for delivery if a shortage takes the total price charged below the threshold for free delivery.
I haven't found this at all in the morning there is nothing but late at night have managed to get 2 so far..
You can update your basket right up until the day before as things are going in and out of stock constantly.
AndreaTunniclif you can only change your order in the 2 days before its due now and only once - they have changed it - I did put it in the post
emmabeckz not quite true you can add things into the basket and it will hold them until you want to amend so you can add during the week, done this on my last 2 delivers and it said on page as you quoted about amending in only once in the last 2 days before delivery thought I would chance it and ended up amending a few times in the last 2 days as forgot bits and it worked fine.
My last delivery was monday and have another next monday and have already add to basket just wont amended until within the 2 days .x
This is really nice tip in this hard time. Great find. Thanks for posting this deal. Will explore.
Is the minimum spend for free click & collect £25 as the post states or £40 as shown in the (possibly out of date?) screenshot? Thanks
EleHolloway Its shows free click and collect over £25 or £3 basket charge under and min order for home delivery is £40 / £3 basket charge under. Taken from live site today
emmabeckz My brain obviously wasn't in gear earlier (poxy ME brain fog). Reading it now it makes perfect sense!
done my shopping just now. They have delivery slots available near end of the month and started may
Last time I tried, I looked at 10.30 just before bed and the slots went as far as the Friday; looked again at 2.30am, and the slots then went up to the Saturday but were already all gone
I tried virtually all day at ten minute intervals then when the next days delivery slots (for six days hence) became available there were none available. I'd virtually given up then a week or so later, I went to check and they'd reserved me a slot, I had one hour to place my order. It looks as if Iceland changed things.
I just had a go on the off-chance about an hour ago and got a slot for a week on Monday! Woohoo!
Just got a slot earlier today for Sunday 26th, thank goodness. I am in an at risk group, and feel bad for always asking family members to help.
I happened to look at around 3am a few days ago and it looked like they had just been released as there were 2 full days worth of delivery slots available.
I'm getting a Tesco delivery tonight,it was just luck that I got it ,been trying to get one since last week
I personally don’t think there is a specific time etc to be able to get delivery slots... ... it’s just down to being lucky and being in the right place at the right time!!!! Xxxxxxxx
From what I've heard from others, and my own experience, I tend to agree with you. (That's with Iceland).
If you are struggling to get slots and isolating like we are so have no option, if you do magically get a slot, make sure you buy a delivery pass and book the slot as a recurring slot and you get that slot every week, need to add your order in advance, just duplicate the current order and change it 2 days out to what you currently need ;)
Thanks although i got 1 a few days ago for next wk and around 3/4am, its been different times for me.
It all depends on area I been lucky and not failed to get at least 2 or 3 slots a week yep 3 but doing shop for in-laws and neighbours chipping in I got a Iceland at 11.30am Tesco next day at 3.30pm and Asda at 10am. I check everyday as have 2 accounts with 2 supermarkets and I was awake t 4.30am and loads were available for ASDA so I think it’s all down to location and size of supermarket
Thanks for the tip, could definitely do with getting a slot for either delivery or click and collect
