The notorious Cheltenham Festival will soon be upon us (10-13 March). Three horses died at last yearβs Festival, and seven the previous year.
Most people are not aware of how dangerous racing is for the horses forced to participate. There is still just enough time to order your leaflets so that you can help raise awareness in your local town centre.
Campaign against the Cheltenham Festival and Grand National locally
If you would like to leaflet locally, hold an information stall or give leaflets to friends and family, Animal Aid is happy to provide leaflets for free.
Free bets at most bookies if you prefer to watch the racing
Most horses run without being forced as seen millions of times where riderless horses complete courses.
Maybe find out the ins and outs before you go around accusing people of forcing them to race. The horses live a pampered life and love to run and jump. A horse is big enough and strong enough to not run if it didn't want too.

Just another anti writing that who doesn't know the truth and everyone else just believes what they write and never try to find out the truth for themselves. Just play follow the leader. You know how many times antis have been I vited to visit stables to see what they are really like but they don't wanna know, they don't wanna find out the truth bacause it will damage what they have been saying all along so they just keep believing their made up stories. Everyone's entitles to their opinion and I work and have studied animals and this is what I have learnt. But everyone's free to believe what they want. Good luck
