Alexandra Palace opened in May 1873 as a public centre of recreation, education and entertainment and has had many different uses throughout its 150-year history. Tours will visit the basements and will focus on WW1, when the Palace was used as an internment camp. Join us to find out lots of interesting facts about the Palace’s hidden areas and learn about its different uses throughout the history.
The meeting point for this event is in the Transmitter Hall by the BBC tower, on the South Terrace of the Palace.
