Hunting for a budget-friendly Christmas feast! Look no further! Heron Foods, a lesser-known gem in the retail world, is offering a full Christmas dinner for a mere £3.75 per person. This incredible deal, priced at £15, promises to satisfy a family of four with a hearty meal.

In the offer you'll get a choice of a turkey joint with all the trimmings, a honey-glazed gammon joint, or a meat-free option. Sides include red cabbage and apple, duck fat roast potatoes, sprouts, and the all-important pigs in blankets. Here's the breakdown of what you'll get:

- The Best Buy Turkey or Gammon Joint: £7.50

- Red Cabbage & Apple: £1.79

- Duck Fat Roast Potatoes: £2.00

- Yorkshire Puddings: £1.89

- 12 Pigs in Blankets: £2.89

- Sprouts with Bacon: £1.79

- Chantenay Carrots & Herb Butter: £1.79

- Stuffing Balls: £1.89

To grab this deal, you'll need to visit a Heron Foods store, easily located using their store locator tool online. With Heron Foods under the B&M umbrella, they're known for their competitive prices, a favorite among bargain hunters, especially in the Midlands and North.

Separately, these items would cost £21.46, meaning a saving of £6.46 when bought together. But Heron isn't the only player in the game. Sainsbury’s and Asda are also offering their versions of affordable Christmas dinners, with Sainsbury’s edging ahead for Nectar card holders.

If you're strategizing to minimize Christmas expenses, consider loyalty cards, yellow sticker aisle timings, and supermarkets' Christmas savings schemes. Martin Lewis recently highlighted the best shopping days for scoring a half-price Christmas dinner.

Lyndsey Young at The Sun reported this savvy shopping opportunity in a recent article, bringing to light the various options available for a budget-friendly festive season.

“This is a perfect example of how shopping smart can lead to big savings, especially during the festive season. It's all about finding the right deals and making informed choices.” - Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk.

Marvellous for those cooking for 1 or 2, and who are unable/unwillng to cook from scratch. My son and myself regularly have a 16oz steak and a lobster each. It was actually a revelation when he said we could actually eat anything we wanted for dinner. There are no rules at Christmas
