B&M Shoppers Rave About 40p Car-Warming Gadget

Image

Deal Hunters, winter is creeping in, but before you crank up your engine to banish the cold, there's a genius 40p trick circulating that'll help you stay toasty. TikTok user @cruxandbeta showcased the affordable hack using a product from our favourite high-street spot, B&M.

Gemma Strong at The Mirror reported that this handy trick involves using B&M's self-adhesive weather stripping seal to fend off the chilly draughts in your car or van. The clever chap demonstrated how lining the vulnerable parts of his van where cold air enters kept the cold at bay. A 15-metre roll of this miracle tape is just £6.49, which means for a mere 43p, you can insulate the width of a car door!

Now, that's not the only affordable tip that's doing the rounds. Remember the free hack of warming up shoes with a hairdryer before heading out. Yes, that's right, Dave Hax's YouTube channel featured that gem along with other winter-saving tricks, like fleece thermal insoles for just £2.99 from Amazon to keep those toes snug.

And, Deal Hunters, always be cautious with your DIY solutions. Some smart commenter highlighted not to use hairdryers on quality leather shoes. It can damage the leather, and we wouldn't want that.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, weighed in, stating, "Innovative hacks like these not only save money but also bring warmth and comfort during chilly days. It's always great to see how people find solutions to common problems without breaking the bank."
