Morrisons Is Selling Cheap Christmas Chocolates - Quality Street, Roses & Heroes

Image

Hey Deal Hunters, it's August, but Morrisons is already gearing up for Christmas! They've dropped an unbeatable offer on Quality Street, Roses, and Heroes tubs, which has left even me, the savviest of savers, stunned.

Olivia Marshall at The Sun reported that Morrisons shoppers are snapping up two tubs (550g to 600g) of these festive treats for just £7. That's just £3.50 per tub! And believe me, in my hunt for early Christmas deals, this is the cheapest I've come across.

A keen-eyed shopper tipped the community off on Facebook, urging others to grab this offer in time for the festive season. Judging from the buzz it’s generated, it's clear that many of you can't resist these chocolatey temptations.

However, there's a small catch. This irresistible price is exclusive for members of the Morrisons loyalty scheme. Non-members will need to shell out £10 for two tubs. Still, even if you're not a member, it might be a good idea to join the Morrisons More card for deals like these.

I used the Latest Deals Supermarket Price Comparison Tool to check whether this is genuinely a good deal. I found Tesco is selling theirs for £5 (or £4 with a Clubcard), while Iceland and Sainsbury’s price theirs at £5.50. Ocado? £6.

Worth noting: last year Morrisons had a similar offer, but it was slightly cheaper - two tubs for £6. But hey, times change and deals vary.

Morrisons loyalty card now offers digital coupons for instant in-store savings, providing "personalised offers". Remember to scan the My Morrisons card or app at checkout to unlock these fantastic offers at all 498 Morrisons stores. You can read more about the My Morrisons scheme here.

To wrap it up, Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "The early bird catches the chocolate worm at Morrisons. It's always great to see shoppers snagging early festive deals." Happy hunting, Deal Hunters!

Please check the expiry date before purchasing. I have seen both tubs of chocolates expiring January 2024 - April 2024. Not much of a bargain me think. I wait until November every year when the fresh stock is put out and the expiry date is usually August - October of next year.
