Eloise Hill at Retail Gazette reported that Morrisons is on a price-cutting spree again! This week, they're knocking down prices on over 170 products. Count that with the previous reductions, and that's the EIGHTH time they've done this in 2023 alone. No surprise then, that since January, they've been consistently lowering and locking over 1,000 prices each week. That’s a lot of potential savings, especially if you're planning your budget around those pesky price fluctuations.

Now, let’s talk “More Month”. Launched this September, it’s all about helping you stock up, bank some extra loyalty points, and plan that budget. With your More Card, you're looking at grabbing exclusive offers with an average discount of over 30%! Extra “More Points” are now available on a mix of branded items and Morrisons' own brand goodies. If you manage to stash away 5,000 points, that’s a “Morrisons Fiver” for you to use on your next haul. And yes, whether you're clicking away online or browsing in-store, these deals are ready and waiting.

Morrisons’ top brass, Rachel Eyre, mentioned that they know September is when many of us look to reset and refocus after those wallet-draining summer months. Plus, with Christmas peeping around the corner, their ‘More Month’ is here to help you prep and save.

This aligns with their earlier announcement of investing an impressive £26m to back customers. Remember when they reduced prices on 47 fresh food must-haves and summer delights? Yep, they’re on a roll. Oh, and a quick flashback: they re-introduced the More Card loyalty scheme in May, swapping out the 'My Morrisons' app after a successful test run.
