M&S Launches Christmas Drinks & Snacks Inc. Xmas Cocktails & Chocolates
With Christmas just months away, shops and supermarkets are starting to drop their Xmas ranges, from food and drink to fashion and decor.
Marks and Spencer is no exception, and shoppers are getting excited about the festive offerings found in store. Tom Church, co-founder of money saving community LatestDeals.co.uk said, "it's always exciting when supermarkets release their Christmas food, and M&S usually does it particularly well. This year is no exception". He goes on to share his festive finds.
Christmas Cocktails, £5.50 each
"This year M&S has released two Christmas cocktails to kick off the festive season. There's Christmas Cosmo and Christmas Colada, a twist on a Cosmopolitan and a Pina Colada. They're £5.50 a bottle and would be the perfect addition to a Christmas Party.
"The Christmas Cosmo is made with the typical vodka and pomegranate juice, but has a splash of cranberry juice for a festive kick. Similarly, the Christmas Colada has the usual ingredients of pineapple juice, coconut milk and white rum, as well as an infusion of warming spices.
Pigs in Blankets Combo Mix, £2.30"Drinks and nibbles is a go-to over the festive period, and M&S has launched these Pigs in Blanket crisps which would be perfect. They're in the Combo Mix style which M&S is famous for, and they've also recently launched a Really Cheesy flavour in this variety as well.
Gingerbread Syrup, £3
"If you're looking for something a bit different this festive season, M&S has released this gingerbread syrup for £3 a bottle. Not the cheapest coffee syrup out there, but I find things like this last ages as you don't need to add much.
"I love making a festive hot chocolate with my son, and toppings and syrups are always the best things to add to give it that festive flair. Gingerbread syrup would also be delicious in a coffee if you're not a hot chocolate person.
Salted Caramelised Popcorn with Milk Chocolate Stars, £3
"This next item is something a bit different: Salted Caramelised Popcorn with Milk Chocolate Stars. At £3 it's not the best value in the world, but M&S snacks always deliver.
Hot Chocolate Robin Bombe, £2
"Next up is a Hot Chocolate Robin Bombe. These are great, just add hot milk and you've got a delicious hot chocolate. Getting a Hot Chocolate from Costa usually costs around £3.45 depending whereabouts in the UK you are, so at £2 I didn't think this was bad value.
"It's a milk chocolate bombe filled with mini marshmallows, so should create the perfect hot chocolate.
Going Gnome For Christmas Collection, £5
Spencer Bears, £3
"If you're a fan of M&S chocolate, there's this 'Going Gnome for Christmas' collection for £5. You get five chocolate gnomes, all with Christmas hats and white chocolate beards.
"There's also this set of five solid chocolate Spencer Bears for £3. These would make a nice treat for little ones, or one for the stocking. They're all teddy bear shaped and Christmas themed.
Tom finished by saying, "I'm excited to see what else lands in store as we get nearer to Christmas. M&S always has a great selection of festive fare, and this year the Christmas-inspired cocktails look particularly tempting - I'll definitely be giving both a try!"
