A fresh twist on a classic treat is causing a stir as McVitie's releases its new Cola Bottle flavoured Jaffa Cakes. Hitting Asda shelves today, these special edition Jaffa Cakes are already receiving rave reviews from fans.

The new Cola Bottle Jaffa Cakes are available in recyclable packs of 10 for £1.25 at Asda, with other major UK supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland, and Co-op rolling them out in July and August.

Jon Rogers reported in The Sun that the release of the Cola Bottle flavour marks a significant departure from the traditional fruit flavours that have been a hallmark of Jaffa Cakes since their introduction in 1927. The new flavour will also be available in Jaffa Cakes Bars, perfect for snacking on-the-go.

In addition to the Cola Bottle flavour, McVitie's has also brought back the popular Gold Billions Wafer bar to B&M shelves, alongside new limited-edition Iced Gems in Candy Floss flavour, offering fans a playful twist on another classic treat.
