Virgin Trains Slashes Prices on Tickets as Part of Black Friday Deals
Virgin is offering a five-day seat sale on a quarter of a million tickets, but exclude key travel dates from the deal
Virgin Trains has announced its plans for Black Friday this year, which includes over half price ticket fares on both standard and first class tickets.
When will the Virgin Trains Black Friday sale begin?
A quarter of a million ticket prices will be cut over five days from midnight on Thursday 23rd November to Cyber Monday on the 27th.
Savings will be offered on popular routes, such as London to Birmingham for £5, London to Glasgow First Class for £37, and London to Manchester for £11.
Sarah Copely, Executive Director Commerical, said, “With our seat sale this winter, our customers can easily make important journeys and even treat themselves to a First Class experience.
“With over 250,000 First Class and Standard tickets, our passengers can look forward to their journeys even more this winter.”
There are limited dates that customers will be able to use the tickets on.
Customers will can get discounted travel between Monday 18th December 2017, to Sunday 14th January 2018.
However, Friday 22nd December, Saturday 23rd December, and Wednesday 27th December are excluded from this period, as they are key travel dates.
The sales also only apply to tickets bought in advance, not ones purchased on the day of travel.
