  • I’ve not shopped in Asda for a while now but when I did I loved the clothes department as I use to get my kids clothes from there. DawnBailey
  • I prefer asda over most shops mainly due to the fact of the size of my local one, it's in an old Dixon's. The staff tend to be a lot more helpful than other places and can't do enough to help you. Back when my nan was alive they were more than accommodating when she came shopping with a wheelchair and such. An added bonus is they have their own brand which is brilliantly priced. And i like the token idea to pick a donation after purchasing shopping AnthonyFulton
  • My experience with Asda - Great Staff really helpful and always with a smile. Products are ok but not a great quality. I think most of the products is overpriced. I do use Asda every time I do shopping but it isn't my favourite shop anymore. AlicjaJagielska
  • Asda isn't my main supermarket, purely because of distance, but it is close to our new office so I do now shop there a few times a month. I love their homeware section and have always loved George at Asda. Their prices are very good and the quality of the groceries is great. The reductions (yellow stickers) are always hefty in our store which is a bonus when leaving work late! The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. I'm always very happy to shop at Asda especially with a voucher code. kellyknight
  • I shop at Asda and I have done for many years. I do feel though that service has slipped somewhat recently. Asda used to be customer focused and their slogan used to be "happy to help" however I do find the staff unhappy and unhelpful. I also find that they have a lot of products out of stock that in my option shouldn't be out of stock, own brand baked beans being one that seems to come up a lot. However, on the whole they do seem to be good value so I will probably continue to shop with them for convenience. lauraddd
  • Unfortunately ASDA is not my main supermarket anymore as other companies are so competitive I try to shop where I can get the best deals as like everyone I am on a budget. I do however use them for my grandsons nappies and wipes as they are by far the best quality i have found for him and i also buy alot of their clothing as i love the fit and the style they have to offer and also good at Christmas time with their offers for tins of Chocolates and sweets 💕 SRFMLY
  • Asda is the shop I mainly use to do online grocery shopping however I am finding more & more that the deliveries have poor substitutions, short dated products & generally never quite right! While Asda offers Asda Price Guarantee it has to be used on your next online shop but you cannot use in store APG receipts online which is frustrating, I wish they could be added to your account somehow. Asda does have some great clothing & I really recommend the George clothing range, it washes well & is off a good quality for the small price tag. SandyRhodes
  • Asda isn't my main supermarket but I do go there frequently for the bits I can't get elsewhere. It can be quite hit and miss with things like freshness of bread. It's does sell a variety of products what we would call world foods from several countries to expand your palette. Asda's George range often has something for all the family in a range of sizes even I can get into. My fave local Asda staff have to be on the pharmacy. Always have a smile and a laugh with them. funwithlisa
  • Asda is no longer my main shopping go to. It used to be but I feel as if prices have started to go up and quality down. There is a lot of competition out there and I think with the economy as it is right now Asda needs to step up it's game. Though I must say that the quality of their clothes especially kids is good. The good thing I can think about Asda is that it has quite a lot of sales all through the year. The staff are always polite and helpful. @bibishah81z
  • I've only been using Asda regularly in the last year since moving to Cornwall where its one the few Supermarkets within a 10 mile radius to where I live. I am pleasantly surprised by the variety of item available to purchase albeit clothing, homewares or food. I have always found the quality of everything I've bought to be of a high standard and all reasonably priced. I have found great bargains on bedding i.e. duvet sets. There always seems to be reduced duvet sets every time I go to the store so i now have quite a collection. The staff are always friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to assist you. Maybe this is because its a semi rural community as it wasn't the same when I shopped before moving from West London. The only downside I've found it the food in the cafe isn't very good. There are always plenty of parking spaces and cash machine near the entrance. The store is very large so you are not battling with other trolleys as you go around doing your shopping. The bakery items are always fresh. The store is always very clean tidy and so are the toilets. jacquis
  • Asda is just 10 mins down the road from me and it's quite popular here, we're greedy as we've got four of them haha. I've always have a list with me but never seem to stick with it, I'm sure I'm not the only one ;) The products are always good value, but lacking in Customer Service. Some choose to ignore you, carry on and chat with colleagues. Aside from that there is friendly staff that I've come across also. My partner often finds me in the George range or aisle 1 where the candles are!ScotsChick
  • Asda has been my go to supermarket since living in Brighton because their prices are great and they have so much more variety over other supermarkets. I particularly love their 'World foods' which they have a huge selection of and their fresh pizzas are the best because they really pile on the toppings. I love their clothing range for buying affordable long lasting jeans.
  • I also get a delivery from Asda once a week which is a great service and the driver is always very friendly, on 2 occasions over 3 years my delivery has unfortunately been cancelled for unforseen circumstances but I have always been generously compensated in this case. Their customer service can't be faulted. JessTilley

Took advantage of their sale and got lots of great items at even better prices. Great communications and parcel arrived very quickly. Tracked parcel service enables you to see where the parcel is and updates by email and text keep you well informed. Usually I can never find what I want in the shop but plenty to find on the website. Lots of choice for everyone and also the home

I mainly shop here for clothes rather than food. I find the clothes are a good price and are good quality. I have purchased a few top up items of food but have never done a big shop here. I mainly go in for the offers which are plenty although sometimes out of stock.

I think Asda's is a great store. The quality of food that you get is really great. There is so much variety. I have only ever gone to Asda for groceries but you can also get health and beauty products, homware, clothing and more at certain stores. I think the prices are really reasonable. They also offer home delivery at very reasonable rates

Easy to use website with a clear layout. It's a good way to order your shopping online hassle-free. You can book a delivery or collection slot and then adjust your order until the night before. You can also create an order that you repeat each time you want a delivery or collection. I've had many successful orders with very few issues - and even then issues have been resolved quickly.

Asda is my go to shop when it comes to buying groceries. They have a wide range of brands available. Their proces are extremely affordable. They also allow online shopping which i find to be the most convenient. I can just browse through their products online and place my order and they deliver it ususally within 1-2 weeks. It's very easy to use.

I have shopped at Asda for many years. In that time you come to now the staff also the way the store operates. Further pre Predemic You could always find what you needed and all at very competitive prices. Now me and the wife are disabled and struggle to shop Asda still has that caring helpful way of serving customers the best way they can. Now me and the wife are on lockdown and have been for many weeks. Financially are struggling and cannot eat some days because the 'cupboard is bare' We just do not know where to turn now. Having always been proud do not like to ask for help. Thanks for reading, Les & Sue S.

Great help during the pandemic, I don’t know what we would have done without Asda! Only critique was the odd few substitutes and short dates but overall we have been happy with the service. Prices have remained competitive despite the other competition cranking their prices, so well done Asda and thank you.

I went to ASDA a few months ago and walked into the opticians, where I had an appointment for a fitting of contact lenses which I'd ordered. I am quite young so sometimes people can be quite condescending as they think I'm younger than I am. As I walked in I was told I could only come in if I had an appointment, which I did so I kept walking and nodded my head. When I got to the desk, the lovely lady asked for my name, to which I gave her my name and DOB. She then was called away and the woman earlier mentioned (the condescending one) took over. She hadn't heard my name and It still hadn't been entered into the system yet but I didn't know that. After a few moments of pottering around the desk and writing little notes down, she turned to face me and in a raised voice asked me if I was going to tell her my name sometime this year. I found this disgusting, I told her my name and that I had come to collect my contact lenses and talk with the optician. She looked furious, and I had no clue why! She then walked off, I assumed to get my contact lenses. She came back about 5 minutes later and said they hadn't arrived yet so I showed her the message I had received on my phone and she didn't even reply to my question (what day do think they will arrive on?) She just kept shouting "WELL THEY ARENT HERE" I asked if I could still see the optician (to talk about my options as I was between brands of lenses) to which she replied "what's the point? you will waste his time" asked me to 'get out the way'. There wasn't even anyone behind me in the queue! I rang up ASDA to complain and they said they would be having a serious chat with her, I came back to store the next time I had an appointment and saw her being just as disgusting to other customers!!! Just wanted to warn people that the employees in that store although one has been kind, the others are despicable.

I had only horrible experience with Asda`s online shopping. Once they did not turn up, because it was Winter. One of those years when we had snow and they could not deliver the items before Christmas, so I had to go to the store and did not get saved from crazy panic buying. The other time I ordered from them, they managed to substitute 20 items from 32. I was shocked. I think ok they change some of the shopping fine, but more than half of it. The website looks ok, not to uplifting. It seems like they have wild variety, more things than other supermarkets, but when u not get them, you start to think if they really do it or not. They have no online coupons. When u first purchase from them u get no offer or discount on the whole shopping. No cashback on whole shopping, maybe on some items with other apps possible. It is easy to use the website and book delivery and do the virtual shopping. I do not think it is cheaper to buy things from this supermarket, they have some great deals and some products are more expensive than elsewhere.

I believe Asda is cheaper than Tescos when it comes to grocery shopping (comparing only these two!). There is no (if any) difference between the quality of the products between them and I feel Asda has more offers than Tesco does. I have started to use the click and collect service and generally I have received all the items that I requested for. They do not provide their items in bags which is slightly difficult during these times as it takes a little while longer to take the groceries out of the boxes but on the otherhand they are saving plastics!

I had to return a top that I had bought for my Granddaughter’s Birthday as I noticed that once I had brought it home there was a hole in it. I then rang the store to see if they had another one in stock in that age & if so could they put it aside for me as I wouldn’t be able to pick it up until a few days later. The lady I spoke to over the phone from the George Department was very helpful & she went to have a look in stock, thankfully they did & she said she would do that for me. When I did come to exchange the item, they were very apologetic & all with a smile.

Asda currently has alot of offers still on which is great especially during these times! The quality of the products are similar to other retailers and are more available when I shop during click and collect! I am also able to find click and collect slots easier on Asda rather than the other retailers

I couldn’t find a product I was looking for so asked someone. Honestly, with what we are all going through just now, they could not have been any nicer or any more helpful and I got the product delivered 3 days later and bonus, it was on sale. Thank you so so much
