Nectar is the loyalty/reward scheme run by Sainsbury's. You collect points when you spend that can be redeemed for vouchers. You can collect Nectar points when you shop at Sainsbury's, Esso, eBay, Asos and many other retailers. Generally, one point is worth 0.5p, so 100 points would be worth 50p. However, they can be worth more if you exchange your points for certin vouchers. You can also get extra points by taking advantage of the offers on your account, accessed via the website or the Nectar app.

Use nectar card for a number of places including sainsburys and try to keep the points until the end of the year. This is where you can get double points from some places. I like nectar points but over the last few years they seem to have got a bit more difficult to get. We will continue to use them in the future.
