ASDA Smileys.
'They call them ‘Smileys’. They’re vouchers that members of staff on the shop floor carry around, and give you when the shopping deal you saw is not in stock, or when you need an item that’s out of stock but have to opt for a more expensive version. For example they run out of smart price baked beans and you have to get heinz you will only pay the same as the smart price ones!'
Additionally Asda has a policy of refunding you if there was a problem with a product or even if you simply didnt like it. You just bring the product back.
Also if Asda overcharges you then you get refubded the difference and you receive a £2 voucher!

I think they are £1 vouchers you are given if the product of a deal of out of stock or the deal cannot be fulfilled.
RosieWaters interesting! Also, this fits in with what you were saying with Tesco's Double the Difference policy too. Good to know all these things.
I've heard of these for years but it's never worked for me! They've been helpful but never proposed giving me one. Just wouldn't have the guts to ask myself otherwise it looks like I'm finding out of stock things on purpose for smileys. Any advice?
