Frying pan is my prefered way but il use my foreman grill if I'm trying to be more healthy. I like my bacon thick & smoked with a huge dollop of tomatoe ketchup. I really want a bacon sandwich now!!

I like mine in the oven but not a fan of smoked bacon. Not sure why though. A friend of mine does hers in the microwave which I had never heard off.

It is interesting to see what topics are ok and what are not. I take it this topic is ok. I would say frying pan to answer to the question.

With respect, I suggest you read the Chat Guidelines, here:

A lot of effort has gone into making LD a fun and friendly place to be. I think most members will understand why LD wants to keep it that way, and indeed prefer it that way.

On the topic of bacon, I recently had an Eggs Benedict which is usually with ham, but this cafe did with bacon and it was so much better!

Bacon > Ham.

Of course it was better. But now I really want to try that.

I prefer grilling, so neither. I like it crispy, and I can't get it to crisp properly when frying.

I usually grill my bacon but if i.m honest it does taste a lot nicer when fried, I just try to take the healthier option.

I like bacon medallions - not a fan of the fat. I like it cooked in the microwave to he honest but my wife only likes it fried.

Medallions are missing the best bit! I love the smaller bit on thir end, especially if it's crispy!

Doesn't matter as long as you get good bacon. IF white comes out, it's full of water and salt, a good dry cured Back bacon is the best, and it's worth paying the extra money as it doesn't burn.

I only buy it when I see it cheap normally as thats the excuse to buy it as its not a healthy meat to eat. If I have it I usually use my halogen oven to cook it as it cooks it quickly and cheaply. I do use the frying pan if I have other food to cook with it like eggs, mushrooms etc but normally when I do bacon its to go in a sandwich on its own.

It’s either fried or grilled, preferably with crispy edges and the fat rendered. Just love the smell of bacon 😋
