If it’s unsafe then contact Trading Standards first then contact Amazon through chat option insisting on a full refund. Trading Standards will get it taken off.

kate1310 Trading Standards need to stop this company selling items that are unsafe, so you need to contact them obviously Amazon aren’t doing anything.

Amazon site - go to the Amazon Customer Service section - this will allow you to speak to/report something dangerous. You can either use a chat-bot or speak to staff member to help with your report.

I'm afraid that such is our "misplaced " trust in Amazon that we believe any Amazon deal posted must be a deal ? Sadly the majority of Amazon marketplace stuff posted on here is "Chinese Tat" . This is an advertising site after all , not a deals site . I have said many times on here , Do your own research , know what the price should be then decide whether to buy . Beware items described as "professional " they almost certainly are not .

Personally I will only ever post genuine items with genuine savings , sadly I seem to be in the minority 😒.

I bought my niece one of those Food Warmers with the dishes in to keep the food hot especially for Christmas when she gets in such a stress trying to keep everything warm when doing the Christmas dinner, she said she went to try it out as she was having friends round for a meal, she plugged it in and that also went Bang and tripped the Lights I got in touch with Amazon and they said it was probably a customer return that should have gone to the warehouse to be checked that it was safe for resale and not one that was New, Sometimes customers buy something and change their mind and return items But anything Electrical should be Checked Before being sold again, I did Return it and Purchased a Different Brand

You could let Amazon know on live chat but I would not expect them to do anything about it Unfortunately.

Contact Amazon via chat and when you get through to someone ask to be put onto a supervisor, if they have attitude tell them you are going to trading standards and threaten to sue for compensation.

pato You can request a phone call from them, if they made it easier to get beyond that stupid chat Bot you wouldn’t need to call them, It takes forever to get beyond that Point you end up repeating yourself 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have had Nothing but trouble with Amazon and they don’t do anything about the issues, Yesterday for instance I was waiting for a Delivery and I was keeping an eye on the tracking of my order it was saying I was next delivery and I was in my kitchen with my niece and again I checked the tracking and it said that they Attempted to Deliver my order and no one was home 🤯 it took me 15 minutes to get past the stupid Bot to speak to customer service, they said I wasn’t home so they couldn’t leave my Delivery, I said well you need to go back to your driver and tell him to come to mine and tell me that I wasn’t home, I said I can Guarantee you I was home and I have witnesses, Plus I have a Doorbell that your courier’s like to keep pressing the bell and banging on the door at the same time and my Dog would be barking if anyone was at the door, in the end they sent my order back out although it didn’t arrive until 9pm 🤦🏻‍♀️

Contact Amazon through their chat although they might not be much use. They don’t seem very clued up on things. I contacted them and explained a situation and what they replied with was random questions. Trading standards are your best bet. Hope you weren’t injured. Could have been a disaster.
