Greggs to Launch a 24 Hour Drive-Thru

In the News

Move over McDonald's , Greggs are in town

Greggs will soon have a 24-hour drive-thru service like McDonald's have

I never knew they opened their first drive-thru in 2017 and have them all around the UK

The first was in Irlam Manchester

But they are only open 6am to 9pm at the moment, soon they will be open 24 hours a day

Great news for all Greggs lovers

Their chicken pie sure is great and tasty, but almost £2 for it (think £1.70 last time).

Not for me.

telmel - Who will be going out between midnight to 6am to buy Greggs products? eg pastry filled goods, cakes, sandwiches, a hot drink?

Leave the 24-hour drive-thru to McDonalds. At least they sell proper food to eat 24 hours per day.

jam45 I remember when i was younger after a good night out in the pubs and club i would always be looking for an indian restaurant to have something to eat in the early hours

If they had a 24 hour Greggs then i would have probably have gone there instead

I suppose not much has changed nowadays and there will always be someone , the likes of shift workers etc as well as clubbers looking for a late night snack

jam45 I'd imagine those that work nights and have to sleep during the day would very much appreciate this and those on the road like lorry drivers. I always think it is a small amount of people that work nights but there are so many hospital staff, doctors, nurses, surgeons, cleaners and security. You've got taxi drivers, supermarket workers, carers and I'm sure there are many more. It might be nice to be able to grab something on the go or even some quick warm food, I mean I wouldn't think it would be good to live off but there must be a demand to a point or they wouldn't be supplying it.
