Heart Murmur on Dogs

Had my wee furbaby at the vet shes got a wee tummy infection but they said she has a wee murmur on her heart 
has anyone's pet had this she's 11 years old
Some times if the vets detect a heart murmur they will say if it’s anything to worry about but as you now know it’s there you can keep a eye on it or you could see if there’s a local vets with a heart specialist that can check her again
tara73ziva I felt so sick when she told me she said its just a slight murmer but I have to keep an eye on her iam so worried about it 
she said I can send her for tests I will probably do that if it gets worse absolutely devastated she's my baby

I know it’s heart breaking one of my Labradors developed congestive heart failure at the age of 13 so I am paranoid when my other dogs cough I hope that it’s just been noticed due to her having a tummy infection as this to can cause a slight murmur
tara73ziva aww did they can it if she has a wee tummy infection they told us to watch if she gets a cough to go back up iam paranoid at the best of times as it's 2 miniature dachshunds I have and they suppose to go up stairs so I got baby gates in my hall and they are on a stricked diet due to there long back as they can have back problems just hope she doesn't get worse
