What is the Bunny Story for Teaching Kids How to Tie Shoe Laces?
Ask a Question
I've finally got my son trainers with laces. I seam to remember a cute story involving a bunny to help remember does anyone know what it is
There are several, stories. rhymes and songs to help show a child how to tie their own shoes, this one makes it very clear.
davidstockport I'm still working on it. Probably why I'm a latent discalced lol. Always tripping over my laces. There's a discloser for yer .I can tie myself and others in knots but not so good at buckling my own shoes lol.
MelissaLee1 I tend to also loosely tie the two loops together they then never come untied... unless I want them to.
It is very difficult to explain in words how to tie a bow - if you ask someone to try you'll find their fingers and hands will move.
I'm now imagining people trying to explain how to tie a bow without moving their fingers and hands
davidstockport I have tied loops, double loops ,bows, sailor's knots, cut ends and even tucked bits into my socks but they always manage to come undone. Over time I have cultivated the art of not falling over lose laces but it drives everyone else potty. If I had tuppence for every time some kind soul told me that my laces were undone I would invest in some slip ons or better still stick ons. Good job I wasn't a gladiator!
We used my pair of timberlands as were heavy enough for my little one to practise on without shoe moving!!!
I remember seeing this sensory activity board on Amazon and it had a pair of laces attached that could teach them to tie their laces, Green or Pink available for £8.99 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BV678KCK/ref=twister_B0BWM3R1H2
I got him some trainer with laces this week, people tell my I fasten mine wrong but it works for me so....
Imnotcheap I don't think their is a right or wrong way as long as they don't come apart and aren't tied like a bit of string.
