How Does Latest Deals Make Money?
Latest Deals
How Latest Deals funds the community:
Latest Deals uses affiliate links to earn money. If you click on a link to an external website and make a purchase, Latest Deals may earn commission.
The average commission is 1 - 5% of the total basket value. Latest Deals also makes money from sponsorships. Brands may pay Latest Deals to list products and deals, for example, on Flash Deals.
When visiting Latest Deals, including the website, social media, apps and tools, please assume every link, post, and recommendation is one the company earns money from.
We explain this on the bottom of every single web page on our website. We also have clear labels on posts by us: “Founder” and "LD Team".

Latest Deals works with retailers to show you great offers. This means there is a financial agreement between the retailer and Latest Deals.
Latest Deals is the clearest, most transparent deals site in our industry. We are proud to lead the competition in straight-talking honesty with our members.
We are happy to work with brands to fund our community, which enables us to give members the most generous rewards available online.
Sponsored posts are clearly stated. In the first sentence of the deal post - right at the very top - we will say something such as:
- Latest Deals has partnered with ABC Brand to show you this deal.
Here is a real example:
We have internal guidelines in place to try and ensure any sponsored deals are genuine discounts. For Amazon specifically, we'll check price history and compare the discount to previous prices and only allow it if it appears to be good value.
Sponsored posts may get featured placement on the website, for example, on the homepage.
We use sponsored posts to fund the community and the millions of points we give to our members.
Does a Sponsored Post Mean It Is Exclusive to Members of Latest Deals?
No. Brands may pay us money to showcase deals that are open to all. If we negotiate an exclusive deal for Latest Deals members, we will shout about it from high heavens. Here's a real example:
Do Members Posting Deals Make Money on Latest Deals?
Members of Latest Deals earn points and Amazon vouchers for sharing deals, vouchers, freebies, competitions as well as commenting and voting on deals.
Members earn points for all posts, including those for which Latest Deals does not make money on.
Whether or not we earn a commission does not impact the inclusion of a deal on our website.
Is a Sponsored Post Always The Best Price?
Not necessarily. Whilst we try our best to ensure any promotion is a market-leading price, it may not be. We encourage members to do their independent research and to understand that better deals, may exist elsewhere. We have YouTube tutorials on how to do some of this research:

Tom I use an ad blocker anyway.
Although, as I do like your site so much I would probably white list you if there were ads.
I have a question.
Even websites that don't offer commission for the standard users, does LD still make any money out of it? I'm guessing not, because if it did then it would work for both sides but maybe I'm wrong.
Is it not possible for you to get money back from Tesco if we go from your website? Instead of purchasing the deals? Also it is not clear which deal support you, but I think it should be marked.
Hey AgnesFaludi, best just to assume it's every link. It isn't, not by a long-shot, but we'd rather everyone be comfortable in using Latest Deals with that knowledge.
As much as its interesting to know the in's and out's of Latest Deals, this is a business and not everything (financially) needs to be shared. I think Tom has been honest and open about the approach the website takes and as he says, if this affects you, then just do not join in.
What fascinates me is how the the business has grown and spawned fantastic communities on social media platforms. Perfect for lead generation and engagement. What's more you are incentivised to get involved and earn points. And we all love a loyalty scheme don't we?!
For me, the site's success is made by the Members for the Members. It is right the the Founders reap the successes. And I hope the future is bigger and brighter going forward.
LD Is A Fantastic Site To Post Deals On, They Do Have Expenses To Cover You Can't Have A Site This Good Without Expenses

The Guys Are Doing Great Things They Need To Relocate To Birmingham Office Space Is Cheaper, Hey Every Things Cheaper.
Just Have Fun Posting The Deals You love
Tom puts alot of effort into replying to comments etc so obviously he needs to earn money. If I could click on every deal and buy it I would lol. At the end of the day everyone gets something from it. Tom & Co make a bit of money and we get better deals and in all fairness Tom has posted some great glitches.
They run the 2 sites aswell as keeping Facebook updated. No doubt they barely made anything when starting it up they have put alot of time and effort in and they listen to what people want. They make everything simple.
In all fairness they should earn everytime someone clicks from there site and makes a purchase but they don't.
It never crossed my mind at the end of the day a service is provided you find bargains we take advantage of them so you should be paid in some way for your service I have no problem with this you all do a great job and the community also put the work in and receive a small reward for their efforts so it's a big win win for all
It's a fantastic website! Obviously they have to earn their money somehow, I can't believe that anyone could have problem with that
Honestly if I found a great deal for me that saves me some cash then I couldn't care less if anybody else earn something from that or not
