Indian Army Are Training Predatory Birds to Take down Enemy Drones
In the News
I was absolutely fascinated to read this article about how the Indian army are training birds such as eagles and kites to seek out and immobilise enemy drones from the skies
They are using them in conjunction with trained dogs in other military operations
This is one step further from how the army used pigeons during the first and second world wars to pass on important messages
How they manage this is unbelievable, and shows how highly intelligent birds really are
I hope they can do this without putting the birds lives in danger though
MelissaLee1963 Ah , i thought the drone looked a little small for a military one, or it was one big bird , cheers M
