I do on a regular basis do surveys on You Gov but now even if surveys aren't your thing then there is another one you can do on there and it don't involve doing surveys . Just connect your streaming accounts that you have or what you purchase on Amazon and remember to renew either once a week or once a month and earn free points on You gov and it all goes to the same place and makes you some easy money .
There is an initial 75 points to do it and then for each account you can get 25 points to just do a very quick renew and that is it. 
I have been doing YouGov for more than 5 years and this is news to me. YouGov has never invited me, etc. But I don't like it anyway. YouGov knows too much about me anyway.
I have seen this but although I dont mid the surveys I have never been comfortable sharing viewing history etc. I prefer to have the choice. It propably would earn me more points as several survey companies offer similar programs
