The word saving does not resonate anymore as much as it does 10 – 20 years ago and hardly used in the same way as it does in the past.

Life is very trendy and people are living for the moment. However, word saving has not completely gone away but creeped away I will say from the banks into most unlikely places such as latestdeals.co.uk where you save daily with deals and coupons by shopping wisely.

The idea is to live well not by conventional saving of living without but by deals. Saving this time is by making wise choices and keeping lots of cash in the bank and living well all at the same time. I don’t know about you but I like the sound of deal saving better than making lost of sacrifices just to save a few pounds.

Now, back to the question going forward 10 years from now, I see a much better way to save using price comparison technologies.

ideal123 Well, said!

Folks nowadays don't really save a lot or at all considering they buy the newest smartphone despite they already own the last year's version and then buy their kid's an iPhone or what have you, too. I personally don't get the point of wanting to own the latest phone/tablet, I'm a geeky guy and the phone I use is a Vodafone Smart 7 Mini (the cheapest Android phone I've purchased).

It's a bit slow yeah and the battery is a bit dreadful but for £14.99 you can't expect too much.

Where I used to spend a bit too much money on was video games, some of which I've decided to sell since I didn't feel like I wanted them anymore and made the money back (or more).

Bargain28 I don't get why people buy £800 to £1000 phones, well, it's trendy so they probably want to look 'cool' too but at what cost? Just a waste of money, tbh.

One could say that a lot of stuff is a waste of money and that'd be true but a phone's phone.

How deal hunting will change i dont think it will i ve noticed over the years that all places offer massive bargains now they have no choice its like a retail fashion i see it as a magnet draws you in my self for example you see something online for say 10p your gonna click that deal or check it out in the shop 9 times out of ten your gonna buy something from that shop or gonna look at the other deals online even if you missed the first one then your left with cookies if it was online you log into facebook u see offers on your page from a previous browse or buy i used to buy things just for the sake of it if it was cheap i d get it but now i think do i need it will i use it would it make a gift could i profit i spose it all depends on how you look at things and what type of deal hunter you are and not to mention its very addictive lol like caffene
