Many celebs might be happy enough just to be nominated for a Hollywood Oscar without actually winning one. Each nominee gets a rather Upmarket Swag bag filled with luxury goodies often worth up to six figure sums. Past swag bags have included Land titles, Manuka honey, High Brand Cosmetics,Posh Pets, Bahlsen biscuits and numerous other surprise delights. Considerably better than the Jamboree bags I remember as a child although probably I was more excited and grateful than many of them might be. Just a thought. Ah simple pleasures. You can't beat em! 
I think there have also been top class holidays and cars in them.
Sad that they go to the people who least need them, hopefully many donate them to those less fortunate.
Plus they model gowns and jewellery at no cost to themselves. Do I sound jealous? Yes!
I have no desire to model gowns or jewellry I'd look like a heffalump in chains lol.
