Please put freebies which require a purchase as deals
Freebies
Hello, if a freebie requires a purchase please put it as a deal.
Examples:
- Get a free bag when you spend £25
- Free dog food with £50 purchase
- Free necklace when you buy a ring
What about delivery costs?
We're still open minded about this. Sometimes it makes sense to put it as a freebie, other times as a deal.
Please just make sure the delivery costs are clearly labeled in the title. For example:
- Free necklace (£2.99 delivery)
- Get two free dresses (£3.50 delivery)
The freebie section is really intended to be a place you can get complete and absolute freebies, free samples and free coupons. However, we know there are grey areas too.
If you have any questions or are in doubt, always just post it anyway and tag a Mentor. We can change things from freebies > deals etc.
Tom
Thanks for posting. Yes, I have noticed quite a few 'free with purchase' (FWP) posts creeping in and I agree that they should be in the 'deals' section. After all, a FWP post means that you have to exchange some of your hard-earned cash to gain the free gift. A freebie is... well just that... free. Call me 'old-school' if you like.
